GC Gaming Chair Crash Fixes

If you are experiencing crashes with the GC Chair, here is the guide on how to fix it.

  1. Navigate to the folder in which cod is saved, its called retail and find the cod.exe in that folder. Delete it.

  2. Navigate to the cod22 folder in the retail folder and delete the exe in there as well.

  3. Empty your recycling bin.

  4. Scan and repair your game if on battle net, verify integrity if on steam.

NEXT HELPFUL FIXES:

  1. Turn off real time protection in windows security.

  3. Extract the entire folder and run dcontrol

  4. Click disable windows defender

  2. Extract THE ENTIRE FOLDER

  3. Run the "run_me" bat file

  4. If it seems stuck, make sure you're clicking the shield pop up on your task bar and clicking "yes"

  5. Let it fully install everything

  6. It will pop up with dcontrol again but you can just close it

  7. Run the bat file fixes in the GC Chair folder

  8. When prompted, type yes for all the questions

RESTART YOUR PC!!

  • Make sure real time protection is off (using dcontrol is ideal, you can download it from the link in the instructions. Make sure real time protection is off before downloading)

  • make sure virtualization is turned on in your bios

  • make sure hyper v is disabled in OS

  • make sure you fully uninstalled any third party anti virus if any

  • make sure windows is fully updated

  • make sure you don’t have Valorant anti cheat installed or running. Can run the command “sc delete vgc” in admin command prompt.
